OVEN BARBECUED CHICKEN
Bone-in chicken thighs, with or without skin
Salt and pepper
Smoky Barbecue Sauce

Remove the skin from chicken and place in a greased baking pan. Season on both sides with salt and pepper. Spoon 2 tablespoons of the barbecue sauce over each piece of chicken; spread to cover the top of meat. Bake at 425º for 40-50 minutes, until the chicken juices run clear.

I removed the skin from the chicken so that the sauce could flavor the meat better. If I were to cook the chicken on an outdoor barbecue grill, I would probably leave the skin on and brush the sauce on after the chicken has cooked most of the way through.
