1 Savory Burger Bun *
1 teaspoon pizza sauce
1 ounce mozzarella cheese, shredded
3 slices pepperoni
Pinch Italian seasoning and garlic powder
Toast the bun briefly in a toaster oven until crispy. Place the bun on a foil-lined baking sheet and spread with the pizza sauce. Top with pepperoni then the cheese and seasonings. Bake or broil until the toppings are hot and bubbly. Serve at once.

* If you've put the buns in the freezer for storage, there's no need to thaw them before toasting.

You can add any other pizza toppings of your choice. I used what I had on hand. These are quite good and the toppings masked the soy taste of the buns pretty well. The "crust" is very sturdy so you can pick it up and eat it in your hands. My husband said that one mini pizza was not quite enough to fill him up, but that two of them were a little too much. One pizza was plenty for my lunch.
