In May of 2010 I had my second child. During the pregnancy I reached 188 pounds. After having the baby, I stayed right at 160 pounds and I couldn't get anymore of the weight off. Around August 2010 I decided to try something else. My mom had huge success with the Atkins low carb diet, so I decided to give it a try. The first few weeks I took off 8 pounds rather quick, but I got tired of the few foods to which I had limited myself.

I began gaining back some of the weight and I knew I needed to get back to my diet. So, I started searching for low carb recipes on the web, and I came across this website. I fixed several of Linda's recipes and my husband and I both really loved them. The huge variety of recipes and food ideas gave me so much more motivation to continue the low carb diet. I especially liked that this site had ideas for snacks like the cheese crackers and cream clouds.

After sticking to the diet, using mostly Linda's recipes, I am now down to 126 pounds. Ultimately I would like to get down to 115 pounds, so I am getting very close to my goal! My husband has even started eating low carb.
